What is the difference between an "all-inclusive" facility and a home that talks about "levels of care?"

In every assisted living facility, residents are provided with the basics amenities which include housekeeping, three meals per day, weekly laundry and recreational and social activities. In an "all-inclusive" home, you will also receive all the assistance you need in relation to your Activities of Daily Living and medication management. In a home where they offer "levels of care," the monthly cost will correspond to the care provided. For instance, if no additional care is required upon admission, you will be expected to pay only the basic rate. If your needs change, costs will be adjusted accordingly. These potential additional costs must be factored in when planning a budget for an assisted living facility. Ask yourself, are your needs going to change, and will you be able to afford those changes if the time comes?
